Atlases and city plans

An atlas is a collection of multi-topic maps of a specific area of the world, which are produced in a uniform way using the same cartographic representations, presentation methods, fonts and colours. An atlas should be comprehensive in its content and the maps it contains should form a system of complementary information about a region or topic.

For the blind and visually impaired, the 'Atlas of Nature' was developed, which presents the most important nature themes in Poland and around the world. Another project is the 'Atlas of national parks in Poland', which consists of map charts for individual parks and a map of Poland with the location of national parks marked. The study not only contains the most important information about them, but also makes it possible to compare them with one another thanks to a unified study. The 'European Union Atlas', on the other hand, is a collection of maps of the countries belonging to the Community, showing the diversity and cultural richness of the European continent.

Soon, this section will also include tactile and colourful city plans.

We invite you to familiarise yourself with the studies prepared.
